I know, that’s not the most appealing title ever, but it’s fitting this morning.

Let’s start with the question: What IS snot anyhow?

Well, it’s mucus. In point of fact, it’s excess mucus which the body produces to deal with irritants and/or pathogens. Brain snot is produced by the psyche to deal with irritants and/or cognitive pathogens entering the frontal cortex.

Reality is shifting even as you sit there, staring at this screen, pondering these not altogether ponderous thoughts and brain droppings …

But I’m getting a little ahead of myself yet again. Sorry about that …

My intent was to open tonight’s bloggability with a simple question.

Have you ever been so angered that you just desperately burned with the urge to kick the living $&@! out of something?

Yeah, me too.

I know, I know … it ain’t right … but I understand!

More importantly, such impulses are, more often than not, symptomatic of irritants entering the frontal cortex.

BRAIN SNOT!

Yesterday was such a day for me … on SO many levels … but let’s focus on the one that affects all of us …

You see, yesterday morning, the House of Representatives was set to vote on the … um … what’s today’s euphemism? … oh yes, yes, that’s right: “health care overhaul.”

It was not the outcome of that vote that bothered me as much as how it was “handled.” And please understand that I intentionally qualified the word, “handled.” Something that I find deeply disturbing is how things and people in this administration are being handled. Obama should adopt the slogan: “Semper Campaignus!” That man has STILL NOT stopped campaigning.

But let’s stick with yesterday … when Obama, Pelosi and their handlers, sensing that the vote was not going to fall in their favor, postponed voting yesterday morning to allow Obama and said handlers to ply their trade one-on-one, in an effort to secure their desired outcome. And let’s not forget that just this week Obama snidely vowed to get this issue pushed through before the end of the calendar year. This coming from the same man who vowed to get this matter put into motion before the summer recess. Things, fortunately for us, were stalled … but we are now at another crux where Obama is attempting to strike while the iron is hot.

Let’s just say … for the sake of argument … that a pedophile is on trial. The prosecution has performed a solid job of not only presenting the evidence, but also in preventing the defense from having the recording confession by the accused dismissed. However, just before the jury begins deliberations, the judge — who happens to be a close friend of the accused — makes an allowance for the defense attorneys to have one-on-one time, behind closed doors, with each of the jurors.

Would that not be cause for complete outrage?

The Obama administration has been campaigning this issue since taking office and now, the morning of the vote, they employ yet another strong-arm tactic and take each and every questionable individual aside and did or said whatever was needful to swing that vote.

I can only hope that more Americans will stand up and demand a stop to this insanity! Goddammit folks, we need to open our eyes and realize that this man is not only setting out to accomplish what he intended, he made no attempt to hide it during his pre-election campaigning. He smiled as he made generic promises for “Change!” We simply allowed the media to romanticize and obfuscate it for us … numbing our minds, creating distractions to perform yet another hoax of an illusion upon our sense of reason and rationality. We have become a nation of spoon-fed idiots, who are growing so weary of the foul, putrid pabulum being forced into our mouths that the numbest amongst us yearn to suckle at the breast of a socialist Mother government.

LOOK AT US! Look at our nation … look at our schools … look at our sons and daughters! We are nation of little pansy-ass mommy’s boys! Everything has been baby-proofed and hyper-sanitized for their “protection.” We’ve allowed them to be raised by a system lead by a hysterical, morally bankrupt minority of extremists. The ACLU and teacher’s union have pummeled into their minds the idea that having moral standards and boundaries are the equivalent of bigotry and, at the very least, hopelessly phobic. That patriotism and honor are things to be derided and laughed at. That only an idiot would be foolish enough to believe in a God, no less deserve the right to express their beliefs … unless that person so happens to be a “disadvantaged” minority. Political correctness has crippled their minds and severely hampered their ability to confidently express their thoughts or beliefs if they run contrary to the “new standard.”

Moral Relativism, as something to be pondered and debated is one thing. However, when the decision was made to allow this to enter the primary education system as dogmatic fact rather than an adult’s intellectual playground, we allowed the education system to raise our children in the company of a wild hyena.

Sadly, Moral Relativism has broken the leash and is running amok.

We’ve played a very silly– no, stupid — game of Russian Roulette with our country and our future.

Sorry, that pun was actually non-intentional.

But anyhow, this “game” we’ve played in this country has allowed a spastic, hysterical minority to run the idea of God out of town and instituted the new idols of atheism, humanism and moral relativity in its place.

It’s not freedom of thought that bothers me. It’s the fact that we’ve allowed an extreme minority — and by extreme, I am necessarily implying extremist elements, I merely mean “extreme” in the sense that the number of people of the forefront of these movements have been and are such monumentally miniscule as a percentage of the populous — we have allowed THEM to shape the political and moral landscape of our country while we selfishly and absent-minded indulged ourselves in what has been, albeit somewhat arguably, one of the most prosperous and decadent generations in this country’s history.

The “Summer of Love” unveiled an era that, quite possibly, can only end in the great Union we once were become nothing more than a whirlpool of sewage. Take heed lest we reap the whirlwind … lest we find ourselves truly up the proverbial shit creek …

It is time for more people to wake up and a take a stand for common sense. It is time for more people to realize that the Constitution is being micturated upon by the very men and women that WE voted into office. And yes, you miserable shit-heel of a U.S. citizen that did not even vote, you too ARE responsible. Your very apathy — OUR collective apathy as an angry, defiant, cynical generation — has allowed this insanity to unfold and consume us.

Quite frankly, if we do not turn the tide and allow Big Government to become the Great Provider, THIS is what will be final outcome:

This is about OUR country … this is about WE the People … not “Us, the extreme minority.”

If you care at all, the time has come for all of us to join these people the most liberal within the media are falsely portraying as “extremists” and “nut-jobs” … if there is a “tea party” or other similar gathering somewhere close to where you live, join them! If there are groups you encounter who are standing up to defend the Constitution and our LIBERTY … JOIN THEM!

Do SOMETHING … if for no other reason than we’ve allowed our political system to become an absolute debacle. And please understand one thing … this is not about defending Republicans or about the future of the so-called “GOP.” It’s about what is BEST FOR OUR COUNTRY … what’s best for our children. The Democrats have morphed into neo-Marxists. The Republican party is nothing more than a group of burned out “good ‘ol boys” who are too confused and too impotent to take a stand.

We don’t need more Republicans … we may not even really need a third party quite yet … but what I DO know that we desperately need is a revival of common sense. Last night I made the decision that it is time for me to personally do more than just vote or voice my opinion to a limited audience. It is time for me to join with others and take stand to stop the hand of Obama and Big Government.
